Our Story

Pastor Isaac had been working as a Youth Pastor and Associate Pastors for 10 years when God began to speak to his hearts and stir within him a sense of something new. After months of prayer and seeking the Father, he knew what God was telling him. He needed to leave the comfort of the known and venture out into something new, which was to plant a new church. It was through utter dependency on the Father and obedience to Him, that God provided him with the confidence he needed to start this new journey. God was starting something big in the community of El Paso, and Pastors Isaac felt the urgency to share this out. So he started assembling a team to launch a church.
 

 
While moving on Isaac's heart, God was also moving in the hearts of others. Through God-ordained appointments, God had provided a team to support and assist on this new venture. The Church Plant Team began meeting on January 21, 2018 in Pastor Isaac's house. God’s Holy Spirit continued to move and instilled passion in the team. They were excited about what God was doing in them, and within a few short months, they officially launched and had outgrown the pastors’ house. I AM Church launched its official first service in July 2018 at Tom Lea Elementary School in the northeast side of  El Paso, Texas. God continues to move as we are continuously growing and seeking lives transformed. After a trying season known as the coronavirus pandemic. The church was able open in person and put down some roots.
